相位锁定间隔的幂律分布并不意味着临界相互作用

摘要

神经同步在信息处理、存储和传输中起着关键作用。因此,表征同步模式具有重要意义。最近有研究表明,基于两种同步度量——相位锁定间隔和同步全局不稳定性——大脑表现出宽带临界性,在经典同步模型的临界阈值处呈现幂律统计。在本文中,我们提供的证据表明,在用于确定幂律统计存在的模型选择方法的限制下,来自非临界相互作用系统的成对相位锁定间隔的汇集可以产生同样被评估为幂律的分布。相比之下,同步全局不稳定性度量被证明能更好地区分临界与非临界相互作用。
