摘要
我们表明,Skilling的归纳方法导致了一个独特的通用归纳推理理论,即最大相对熵(ME)方法。更新概率的主要工具是对数相对熵;其他熵,如Renyi或Tsallis熵,被排除在外。我们还表明,贝叶斯更新是ME更新的特例,因此两者完全兼容。
