在Bandos、Lechner、Sorokin和Townsend发现的广义Born-Infeld电动力学中，我们研究了在平行板波导中垂直于恒定磁场背景传播的横电波。波的传播方向和偏振方向相互垂直，且均平行于理想导体板。研究了两种特定构型，其中背景磁场要么垂直于板，要么沿偏振方向。计算了两种构型中最低阶最低频模式的色散关系、速度和截止频率。这为广义Born-Infeld电动力学的有前景的测试铺平了道路。
