分数量子霍尔(FQH)液体包含极其丰富的内部结构,代表了一种全新的有序。我们讨论了新有序(称为拓扑序)的表征和分类。我们还讨论了FQH液体中的边缘激发,它们形成所谓的chiral Luttinger液体。边缘处的chiral Luttinger液体也具有非常丰富的结构,反映了体内丰富的拓扑序。因此,边缘激发为我们提供了一种在实验中测量拓扑序的实用方法。
