摘要
金属晶须（MW）自发增长的现象引起了显著的可靠性关注，因其相关的电弧和短路现象。MW 的生长动力学仍难以预测。在此我们提出一个理论，将先前观察到的 MW 间歇生长描述为是由与表面缺陷产生的随机电场的变异相关的局部能垒所引起的。我们发现了 MW 停止时间的概率分布，在此期间 MW 生长暂停，这对于可靠性预测十分重要。
