KAGRA 是位于日本神冈矿山中的一个 3 公里干涉式引力波望远镜。它是首个为降低地震噪声而建在地下公里的引力波望远镜,也是首个使用测试质量低温冷却以降低热噪声的公里级望远镜。用于容纳隧道中干涉仪的基础设施建造,以及采用简单 3 公里迈克尔逊(Michelson)配置的干涉仪初始阶段运行均已完成。首次低温运行预计在 2018 年,而使用完整干涉仪的观测运行预计在 2020 年代。本文描述了 KAGRA 的基本干涉仪配置及当前状态。
