KAGRA是一座新建的引力波观测台,为臂长3公里的激光干涉仪,位于日本岐阜县神冈。在KAGRA系列文章中,本文讨论KAGRA项目的科学目标,不仅考虑基线KAGRA(当前设计),也考虑其近期至中期(约5年)的未来升级候选方案(KAGRA+)。
