第二代引力波探测器 KAGRA 的主要建造与初始阶段运行已完成。整个 3 公里探测器安装于地下矿井中,以隔绝地表背景地震振动。这使我们能够在低频段获得良好灵敏度并保障探测器的高稳定性。用于干涉仪运行的简易设备已安装完毕,并于 2016 年 3 月和 4 月以较为简单的配置完成了首次测试运行。KAGRA 的初始配置被命名为 iKAGRA。在本文中,我们总结 KAGRA 的建造工作,包括研究建造地下探测器的优势与挑战,以及 iKAGRA 干涉仪与在同一隧道中建造的地球物理干涉仪的运行。
