KAGRA 概览:校准、探测器表征、物理环境监视器与地球物理干涉仪

摘要

KAGRA 是一座新建的引力波观测台,为一座臂长 3 km 的激光干涉仪,位于日本岐阜县神冈。在本系列文章中,我们给出基线 KAGRA 的概览,我们已于 2019 年完成其设计构型的安装。本文描述了用于从探测器输出重建引力波信号的校准(CAL)方法,以及探测器(DET)的表征。我们还回顾了物理环境监视器(PEM)系统与地球物理干涉仪(GIF)。二者均用于表征和评估引力波信道的数据质量。它们在将探测器输出用于引力波搜寻中起着重要作用。一旦实现引力波探测,并在引力波天文学时代使用 KAGRA,这些表征研究在不久的将来将更为重要。
