Coma 星系团中椭圆形星系的熵：距离指示器的线索

我们使用 Sersic 模型对来自 Coma 星系团的 79 个椭圆形星系的面积亮度进行拟合。该模型通过三个主要参数定义：比例长度 (a)、强度 (Σ_0) 和形状参数 (ν)；可从这些参数计算出物理和天体物理量。我们发现，主要参数之间的相关性比经典的天体物理参数之间的相关性更强。特别是，星系在 ν 和 a 参数之间遵循很高的相关性。我们指出，ν 和 a 的相关性满足恒定的比特熵条件。我们提议将此熵关系用作星系团的距离指示器。
