摘要
我们介绍与符号动力学中某些问题相关的“矩阵的稳定代数”。我们考虑一般环上以及各类特定环上矩阵的这一稳定代数（尤其是移位等价与强移位等价）。该代数本身具有独立意义，且可在几乎不关注符号动力学的情况下加以研读。我们包含了与代数 K 理论以及非负矩阵逆谱问题的强关联。我们还回顾了有限型移位自同构群的关键特征，以及 Kim、Roush 和 Wagoner 给出 Williams 移位等价猜想反例的工作。
