摘要
在大多数物理科学尤其是物理学中，来自统计上代表性不足的少数群体（URM）的学生和女性获得本科及研究生学位的比例较小。这种代表性不足在大多数物理系、大学和国家实验室的教职层面以及高层管理职位中也很普遍。本会议论文总结了一项报告，该报告展示了物理科学参与情况的统计数据，并讨论了诸如桥梁项目等旨在提高物理学研究生项目多样性的倡议的成果。
