本文概述了保加利亚研究团队在探寻由反应扩散方程描述的开放非线性热传导介质中可能存在的结构与波这一问题上的主要贡献。该问题自上世纪七十年代起由 A. A. Samarskii 和 S. P. Kurdyumov 的俄罗斯学派提出并积极推进，至今仍包含开放且具挑战性的问题。
