摘要
我们报道了在具有大长宽比的圆柱形容器中对流图案的实验。流体普朗特数约为 1。在理论预测稳态直卷应稳定的参数范围内,我们观测到了由许多旋转螺旋及其他缺陷构成的混沌图案。图案的关联长度随控制参数增大而迅速减小,使得相关区域尺寸远小于容器面积。这表明该混沌行为是大长宽比几何结构所固有的。
