壁面束缚流中湍流衰减的时空视角

摘要
利用一个聚焦于平面库埃特流面内依赖性的简化模型,本文表明湍流-层流弛豫过程可被理解为一个类似于热力学一级相变中发生的成核问题。该方法适于处理所考虑系统的大尺度扩展,对当前以典型时间混沌中的混沌暂态来解释的观点提出了挑战。对嵌入湍流中的层流区域尺寸分布的研究证明,无论局部混沌寿命(如低维动力系统理论所设想的那样)是否在超出 R_{low} 的有限雷诺数 R 处发散,在某个给定的雷诺数值 R_{low} 下,都可能发生从持续时空混沌到层流的突变。
