对睡美人问题中的条件化进行了细致分析，采用了 Halpern 和 Tuttle 开发的用于知识与概率推理的形式模型。虽然睡美人问题一直被视为揭示了不完美回忆情况下条件化的问题，但此处的分析表明，问题主要不在于不完美回忆，而在于异步性。探讨了该分析对 van Fraassen 的反思原则和 Savage 的确定性原则的启示。
