摘要
在未来十年中，多项实验将试图确定中微子质量层级。此类实验的可行性研究通常确定 Delta chi^2 的期望值。由于层级是一个离散选择，Delta chi^2 不服从自由度为 1 的 chi^2 分布，因此层级确定的置信度 sigma 数并非预期 Delta chi^2 的平方根。我们提出了一个简单的公式，用于描述作为预期 Delta chi^2 函数的中等实验所能预期的对层级的灵敏度。
