SENSEI:SNOLAB的SENSEI对亚GeV暗物质的首次直接探测结果

摘要
我们展示了使用SNOLAB的SENSEI探测器中六个Skipper-CCD进行暗物质搜索的首批结果。我们采用了一种偏差缓解技术,隐藏了约46%的总数据,并对图像进行激进掩码以去除背景。在掩码后由性能良好的传感器获得了100.72 gram-days的总曝光量下,我们观测到55个双电子事件、4个三电子事件,以及没有包含4到10个电子的事件。双电子事件与单电子事件的堆积一致。在4个三电子事件中,有2个出现在可能受探测器缺陷影响的像素中,尽管其影响尚未强到足以触发我们的“热像素”掩码。我们利用这些数据对与电子和原子核相互作用的亚GeV暗物质设定了世界领先的约束。
