传输层自相似交通的起源

摘要
我们进行了网络流量仿真，以阐明产生于传输层自相似交通的机制。即使不假设输入文件大小的长尾分布，也可观察到自相似行为。通过对修改TCP进行多次仿真，我们发现，来自网络的反馈机制（如由确认报文驱动的数据包传输）在解释实际流量中观察到的自相似性方面起着关键作用。
