摘要
我们表明，无限长圆柱体中硬球的最优堆积产生了以螺旋对称性为特征的结构。每个堆积都可以通过沿圆柱体长度无限堆叠基本晶胞来组装，其中每个后续晶胞相对于前一个晶胞旋转相同的扭转角。在本文中，我们定量描述了范围 内所有此类堆积的螺旋操作性质，并简要讨论了它们的手性。
