SAVITR：一种紧急情况下从微博实时提取位置的系统

摘要
我们提出 SAVITR，一个利用 Twitter 微博网站上发布的信息来监控和分析紧急情况的系统。鉴于仅有极小比例的微博具有地理标签，此类系统必须从微博文本中提取位置。我们采用自然语言处理技术以无监督方式推断微博文本中提到的位置，并将其显示在基于地图的界面上。该系统设计用于高效性能，达到了 0.79 的 F 值，并且比其它可用的位置提取工具快约两个数量级。
