IIB 型矩阵模型于 1996 年作为超弦理论的非微扰表述被提出。我们通过应用复朗之万方法克服符号问题，模拟一个描述 IIB 矩阵模型晚期行为的模型。我们在最近发现的相中阐明了 IIB 型矩阵模型的欧氏版本与洛伦兹版本之间的关系。通过引入约束，我们获得一个模型，其中时空度规在早期为欧氏的，而在晚期动态地变为洛伦兹的。
