摘要
四元数是描述分子取向的重要工具。本文考虑了四元数在匹配分子的两个构象、插值旋转、对取向数据进行统计、随机采样旋转以及在取向空间中建立网格等方面的应用。这些例子表明,分子建模中出现的许多旋转问题都可以使用四元数简单而高效地处理。
