Mu2e 实验定制 SiPM 阵列的质量保证

摘要

费米实验室的 Mu2e 实验将搜寻铝原子上相干的 μe\mu \to e 转换。探测系统由 straw tube 径迹仪和晶体量能器组成。已采购用于 Mu2e 量能器的 150 个硅光电倍增器阵列的预生产批次。对每个 SiPM 进行了详细的质量保证,以确定其工作电压、增益、暗电流和 PDE。还完成了预生产批次中随机小样本的平均失效时间测量,以及暗电流随电离剂量和非电离剂量增加的测定。
