OSIRIS 是 GTC 上的光学首日仪器，也是迄今为止唯一在 GTC 上运行的西班牙仪器。为一台 8-10 米级望远镜建造和测试一台此前未曾进行过调试的仪器，代表了一次真正独特的经历。本文介绍了当前的状态、最新的调试结果以及一些未来展望。
