SPT-3G焦平面的光学表征

摘要
第三代南极望远镜相机旨在利用约16,000个 transition-edge sensor (TES) 辐射热计,在三个频段(95、150和220 GHz)测量宇宙微波背景。探测器晶圆上的每个多色像素都有一个宽带正弦天线,通过集总元件滤波器将功率耦合到六个TES上,分别对应三个观测频段和两个偏振方向。焦平面由十个探测器晶圆组成,并通过大孔径光学系统耦合到天空。在此我们给出利用傅里叶变换光谱进行的频段表征,以及焦平面的光学时间常数、光束特性、光学效率和偏振效率的测量结果。探测器的频段与我们的模拟一致,并且具有高的平均光学效率,95、150和220 GHz探测器的平均光学效率分别为86%、77%和66%。探测器的时间常数大多在0.5 ms至5 ms之间。光束呈圆形且尺寸正确,大多数辐射热计的偏振效率超过90%。
