SPT-3G 宇宙微波背景接收机第二年的仪器状态

摘要

南极望远镜(SPT)是一台毫米波望远镜,专为高精度测量宇宙微波背景(CMB)而设计。SPT 以 large aperture 测量 CMB 的温度和偏振,从而生成高分辨率图,对天空中广泛角尺度范围内的信号敏感。利用这些数据,SPT 有潜力进行广泛的宇宙学测量。这些包括约束大质量中微子对大尺度结构形成的影响,以及在未来搜寻暴胀引力波时从 CMB 偏振数据中清除星系与宇宙学前景。SPT 于 2017 年 1 月以新接收机(SPT-3G)开始观测,该接收机包含约 16,000 个偏振敏感跃变边缘传感器辐射热计。若干关键技术进展促成了这一大格式焦平面,包括探测器、读出电子学和大型毫米波光学方面的进步。我们讨论这些技术在 SPT-3G 接收机中的实现及其带来的挑战。2017 年末,这三项技术的实现均被修改以优化总体性能。在此,我们给出 SPT-3G 接收机当前的仪器状态。
