我们针对 Weatherall ([2018]) 在本期刊近期发表的一篇文章，就孔论证（hole argument）的数学与形而上学作出若干评论。宽泛地说，我们为主流哲学文献辩护，反驳其关于广义相对论数学的正确使用会“阻断”该论证的说法。
