绝缘体上掺铒薄膜铌酸锂的片上集成波导放大器

摘要
我们利用光刻辅助化学机械抛光(PLACE)技术,在绝缘体上掺铒薄膜铌酸锂(TFLNOI)上制备集成光学波导,实现了片上光放大。对于长度为 3.6 cm 的波导,在峰值发射波长 1530 nm 处测得小信号增益区的最大内部净增益为 18 dB,表明单位长度差分增益为 5 dB/cm。该工作为在 TFLNOI 平台上单片集成多种有源与无源光子元件铺平了道路。
