关于Karrass和Solitar的一个猜想

摘要

我们通过证明非平凡自由积 $G = A\ast B$ 的有限生成子群具有有限指数当且仅当它与 $G$ 的每个非平凡正规子群非平凡相交，解决了Karrass和Solitar的一个旧猜想。更一般地，该结论对有限Kurosh秩的子群也成立。
