金属表面间卡西米尔力的趋肤深度效应观测

摘要
我们对金属平板与镀有不同厚度金属膜的透明球之间的卡西米尔力进行了比较测量。我们观测到，若镀层厚度小于主要贡献于相互作用的电磁模的趋肤深度，则力显著小于用厚体状膜所测得者。我们的结果提供了金属表面间趋肤深度效应对卡西米尔力影响的首个直接证据。
