非平衡相变中扩散型南部-戈德斯通模的观测

摘要
二级相变由自发对称性破缺主导，产生具有无隙谱的集体激发，称为南部-戈德斯通(NG)模。虽然守恒系统中的NG模是传播型激发，但非平衡相变被预测具有扩散型NG模。我们给出了微腔极化激元非平衡玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚体中扩散型NG模的首个实验证据。该NG模作为凝聚体谱学响应中的谱变窄被观测到。此外，显式打破对称性导致谱中能隙打开以及NG模消失。我们的观测证实了非平衡相变中NG模的扩散动力学，并建立了研究统计力学基本问题的有前景的框架。
