K_L -> pi^+ pi^- e^+ e^- 衰变模式的观测

摘要
我们报告了对 K_L -> pi^+ pi^- e^+ e^- 衰变模式的实验搜索结果。我们发现 13.5 ± 4.0 个事件，确定其分支比率为 (4.4 ± 1.3(stat) ± 0.5(syst)) × 10^-7。该结果与理论预测一致。
