首次观测并测量衰变 K+- -> pi+- e+ e- gamma

摘要
利用 NA48/2 实验的全部数据集，首次观测到衰变 K+- -> pi+- e+ e- gamma，筛选出 120 个候选事例，估计背景事例为 7.3 +- 1.7。以 K+- -> pi+- pi0D 作为归一化道，以模型无关的方式确定分支比为 Br(K+- -> pi+- e+ e- gamma, m_eegamma > 260 MeV/c^2) = (1.19 +- 0.12_stat +- 0.04_syst) x 10^-8。该测量值及 e+ e- gamma 不变质量谱允许与手征微扰理论 (Chiral Perturbation Theory) 的预言进行比较。
