对 $K^+ \to \pi^+ \mu^+ e^-$ 衰变率的改进限值

摘要

BNL 的 E865 实验给出了 K+π+μ+eK^+ \to \pi^+ \mu^+ e^- 衰变分支比的上限为 3.9×10113.9 \times 10^{-11}(90% 置信水平)。结合其他结果,该衰变分支比的合并上限为 2.8×10112.8 \times 10^{-11}。此外,还确立了 π0μ+e\pi^0 \to \mu^+ e^- 分支比的新上限为 3.8×10103.8 \times 10^{-10}(90% 置信水平)。本文描述了该实验与分析。
