摘要
无中微子双贝塔衰变()的搜寻仍是中微子领域最具吸引力的发现实验途径之一。电致发光气相时间投影室因其固有的高能量分辨率与拓扑事件识别能力,非常适用于搜寻。扩展至吨级与多吨级质量,需要对大面积电致发光区以精细空间分辨率、低放射性本底及可扩展数据采集系统进行读出。本文呈现一种探测器原型,其通过VUV图像增强相机在电致发光氙气TPC中记录事件拓扑。这使得可利用几乎完全位于活性介质之外的商用器件对大型径迹平面进行可扩展读出。经中等规模演示器的进一步发展,该技术或可代表一种用于中拓扑事件成像的新颖且可扩展方法。
