PandaX-4T实验中的中子诱发核反冲本底

摘要

中子诱发的核反冲本底对PandaX-4T液氙实验中的暗物质搜寻至关重要。本文研究了液氙中中子本底的特征,并通过三种方法评估了其在单散射核反冲事件中的贡献。第一种方法完全基于蒙特卡洛模拟。后两种为数据驱动方法,分别利用了数据中的多重散射信号与高能信号。在曝光量为0.63吨·年的PandaX-4T调试数据中,所有这些方法给出一致结果:在约5至100 keV的核反冲能量窗口内,暗物质信号区有1.15±0.571.15\pm0.57个中子诱发本底。
