摘要

使用旨在测量中微子混合角 θ13\theta_{13} 的 Double Chooz 探测器,测量了 μ\mu^-12^{12}C、13^{13}C、14^{14}N 和 16^{16}O 上俘获的产物。在 489.5 天期间,收集了 2.3×1062.3\times10^6 个停止的宇宙线 μ\mu^-,其中 1.8×1051.8\times10^5 个在内探测器闪烁体或丙烯酸容器中俘获于碳、氮或氧核。所产生的同位素通过瞬发中子发射(适用时)、随后的 β 衰变,以及在某些情况下 β 延迟中子进行标记。报道了迄今最精确的 12C(μ,ν)12B^{12}\mathrm C(\mu^-,\nu)^{12}\mathrm B 速率测量:6.570.21+0.11×103s16.57^{+0.11}_{-0.21}\times10^{3}\,\mathrm s^{-1},占核俘获的 (17.350.59+0.35)%(17.35^{+0.35}_{-0.59})\%。通过标记发射伽马射线的激发态,确定到 12^{12}B 的基态跃迁速率为 5.680.23+0.14×103s15.68^{+0.14}_{-0.23}\times10^3\,\mathrm s^{-1}。测量了此前未观测到的反应 12C(μ,να)8Li^{12}\mathrm C(\mu^-,\nu\alpha)^{8}\mathrm{Li}13C(μ,νnα)8Li^{13}\mathrm C(\mu^-,\nu\mathrm n\alpha)^{8}\mathrm{Li}13C(μ,νn)12B^{13}\mathrm C(\mu^-,\nu\mathrm n)^{12}\mathrm B。此外,在停止缪子后的一群 βn 衰变以 5.5σ5.5\sigma 显著性被识别。统计限制了我们明确识别这些衰变的能力。假设 8^{8}He 产额可忽略,发现反应 13C(μ,να)9Li^{13}\mathrm C(\mu^-,\nu\alpha)^{9}\mathrm{Li}2.7σ2.7\sigma 水平存在。对各种其他过程给出了限制。
