双层石墨烯中边际自平均的一维局域化

摘要

场可调带隙、拓扑边缘态与能带结构中的谷值相结合,使绝缘双层石墨烯成为一种独特的局域化系统,其中无量纲电导 g 的标度律在很大程度上尚未被探索。在此我们表明,在强绝缘双层石墨烯(BLG)中,ln g 随化学势变化的相对涨落在沟道长度达 L/ξ{\xi} {\approx} 20 时近乎对数衰减,其中 ξ{\xi} 为局域化长度。这种“边际”自平均以及 <ln g> 对 L 的相应依赖关系,表明强带隙 BLG 中的输运沿严格一维通道发生,其中发现 ξ{\xi} {\approx} 0.5±{\pm}0.1 μ{\mu}m,远长于由体带隙所预期的值。我们的实验揭示了带隙 BLG 中由稳健边缘模上的输运所主导的非平凡局域化机制。
