基于康普顿阶梯的 SuperCDMS HVeV 低能量制冠热力学校准

摘要

用于低质量暗物质搜索的制冠热力学器已实现亚电子能量分辨率,这推动了低能量制冠热力学技术以及我们对探测器物理理解的进展。γ射线能量沉积光谱在原子电子结合能处显示阶梯状特征,称为康普顿阶梯。我们展示了成功利用康普顿阶梯对制冠硅热力学器进行亚 keV 制冠热力学校准,采用 0 V 偏压工作的四个 SuperCDMS High-Voltage eV-resolution(HVeV)探测器。该 0 V 制冠热力学与使用光子进行的 established 高压制冠热力学进行比较。比较结果表明,0 V 时的探测器响应约为预期值强度的30%,这凸显了针对低质量暗物质搜索中探测器响应建模的挑战。
