ZEPLIN-III实验首次科学运行对自旋相关WIMP-核子截面的限制

摘要
我们利用ZEPLIN-III实验首次科学运行的数据,提出了对WIMP-核子自旋相关弹性截面的新实验约束。ZEPLIN-III是一个基于Boulby矿的两相氙实验,用于搜寻银河系暗物质WIMP。对约450 kg·天的有效曝光量进行分析,最可能信号为零事件,从而在WIMP质量为55 GeV/时,对纯WIMP-中子截面给出了90%置信度的上限 pb。使用了基于Bonn CD核子-核子势的核自旋结构的最新计算,用于奇中子同位素Xe和Xe。这些计算表明,氙靶对自旋相关WIMP-质子相互作用的灵敏度远低于先前计算所暗示的水平,而WIMP-中子灵敏度仅降低了约2倍。
