摘要

LUX-ZEPLIN 实验是一个以双相氙时间投影室为核心的暗物质探测器,运行于美国南达科他州 Lead 的 Sanford 地下研究设施。本快报报道 LUX-ZEPLIN 以 5.5 t 置信质量、60 live days 曝光量进行的首次弱相互作用大质量粒子(WIMP)搜寻结果。轮廓似然比分析显示数据与仅背景假设一致,为质量高于 9 GeV/c2^2 的 WIMP 设定了自旋无关 WIMP-核子、自旋相关 WIMP-中子与自旋相关 WIMP-质子截面的新上限。最严格限制设定于 36 GeV/c2^2 的自旋无关散射,在 90% 置信水平下排除高于 9.2×1048\times 10^{-48} cm2^2 的截面。
