PandaX-II 实验前 98.7 天数据的暗物质结果

摘要

我们报告了使用 PandaX-II 500 千克液氙双相时间投影室的首次物理运行数据进行的 WIMP 暗物质搜索结果,该探测器运行于中国锦屏地下实验室。在背景之上未识别出暗物质候选者。结合调试运行期间的数据集,总曝光量为 3.3×1043.3\times10^4 kg-day,我们在 3.5 至 1000 GeV/c2^2 的暗物质质量范围内,对普通物质与 WIMP 暗物质之间的自旋无关相互作用设定了最严格的限制。在 90% 置信水平下,对于 40 GeV/c2^2 的 WIMP 质量,发现散射截面的最佳上限为 2.5×10462.5\times 10^{-46} cm2^2
