摘要
我们给出了来自大型地下氙(LUX)暗物质实验2013年数据的弱相互作用大质量粒子(WIMP)-核散射约束,包括 的搜索曝光量。这一新分析结合了若干进展:在闪烁波长处的单光子校准、改进的事件重建算法、在扩大的 fiducial 体积中包含探测器壁上起源事件的修正背景模型,以及来自注入氚 源衰变和动力学约束低至 1.1 keV 的核反冲的新校准。与之前仅对高于 3 keV 最小能量的信号建模的结果相比,灵敏度尤其是针对低质量 WIMP 得到了增强。在标准暗物质晕假设下且质量范围高于 4 时,这些新结果给出了自旋无关 WIMP-核子截面的最严格直接限制。90% C.L. 上限在 33 WIMP 质量处有一个 0.6 zb 的最小值。
