软光子的大规范变换与小群

摘要
近年来，大规范变换（LGT）——即规范固定后残留在零无穷远处的规范对称性——因软定理与记忆效应而备受关注。我们指出，量子电动力学中的LGT荷实际上是二维欧几里得群的非紧致生成元之一。此外，通过比较两种等价的规范变换描述，我们认为LGT不过是描述无质量软光子的规范小群的另一种方式。
