Kepler-7b:一颗密度异常低的凌星行星

摘要
我们报告了Kepler-7b的发现和确认,这是一颗密度异常低的凌星行星。其质量不到木星的一半,Mp = 0.43 Mj,但半径却比木星大50%,Rp = 1.48 Rj。由此得到的密度为0.17 g/cc,是迄今报道的太阳系外行星中第二低的。轨道周期相当长,P = 4.886天,主星并不比太阳热多少,Teff = 6000 K。然而,它比太阳质量更大、体积也大得多,Mstar = 1.35 Msun,Rstar = 1.84 Rsun,并且必定接近其主序星寿命的终点。
