我们报告了由NASA Kepler任务识别出的凌日行星Kepler-8b的发现及其Rossiter-McLaughlin效应。Kepler测光数据与Keck-HIRES视向速度得出了这颗绕F8IV亚巨星宿主恒星运行的行星的半径和质量。该行星半径为RP = 1.419 RJ,质量为MP = 0.60 MJ,得出密度为0.26 g cm^-3,属于已知密度最低的行星之列。轨道周期P = 3.523天,轨道半长轴为0.0483+0.0006/-0.0012 AU。该恒星具有较大的自转投影速度v sin i(10.5 +/- 0.7 km s^-1)且相对较暗(V = 13.89 mag),这两个性质都不利于精确的多普勒测量。视向速度确实存在较大噪声(弥散为30 m s^-1),但表现出的周期和相位与测光数据暗示的行星一致。我们可靠地探测到了Rossiter-McLaughlin效应,证实了该行星的存在并确立其轨道为顺行轨道。我们测得行星投影轨道轴与恒星投影自转轴之间的夹角为lambda = -26.9 +/- 4.6 deg,表明行星轨道存在中等倾角。对Kepler大样本凌日行星的Rossiter-McLaughlin测量,将为总体上热木星的自转-轨道取向真实分布提供统计上稳健的度量。
