本文档描述了一种基于深度学习的点云几何编解码器以及一种基于深度学习的点云几何与颜色联合编解码器，二者提交于 2022 年 1 月发布的 JPEG Pleno 点云编码提案征集。所提出的编解码器基于近期基于深度学习的点云（PC）几何编码进展，并提供了提案征集所针对的部分关键功能。所提出的几何编解码器在 JPEG 提案征集测试集上压缩效率优于 MPEG G-PCC 标准，且优于或与 V-PCC Intra 标准具有竞争力；然而，由于需要克服的质量饱和效应，联合几何与颜色编解码器并未出现同样的情况。
