碳原子 Hund 定则的解释

摘要
Hund 定则的三重态与单极态之间的能量差异被量子蒙特卡洛方法考察。我们的计算对电子相关性给出了准确的描述,并严格遵守 virial 定理。因此,我们能够准确计算每个能级项的值,从而对 Hund 定则在碳原子中如何运作作出令人信服的解释。我们发现,三重态相对于单极态的能量收益源于更高自旋态中较大的电子-核吸引力,这与 Hartree-Fock 计算及包括相关性的研究结果一致。本文所用的方法可轻易扩展到更重的原子。
