利用UCNA实验的不对称性测量改进对Fierz干涉的限制

摘要

超冷中子不对称性(UCNA)实验旨在测量自由中子衰变的β\beta衰变不对称参数A0A_0。在实验中,极化超冷中子被输运至衰变陷阱,其β\beta衰变电子以约4π4\pi接受度被探测,由两个提供位置和能量重建的探测器包记录。该实验对中子β\beta衰变率中的Fierz干涉项bnb_{n}也具有灵敏度。本工作中,我们利用2011–2013年UCNA运行所取数据,从A0A_0的能量依赖性确定bnb_{n}。此外,我们使用较早的2010年AA数据集给出同类分析。鉴于相比2010年取数运行统计性改善且系统误差相当,我们采用不对称数据集拟合的加权平均给出新的bnb_{n}测量:bn=0.066±0.041stat±0.024systb_{n} = 0.066 \pm 0.041_{\text{stat}} \pm 0.024_{\text{syst}},对应于90%置信水平下0.012<bn<0.144-0.012 < b_{n} < 0.144的限制。
